Jeffery Lawrence Weeden is the principal at WeedenLaw where he specializes in the areas of both state and federal criminal and civil litigation including wildlife law. Jeffery L. Weeden is an accomplished trial attorney, law firm manager and leader. Jeffery focuses his trial work in criminal defense (especially wildlife law) and civil litigation. Jeffery has an AVTM Preeminent Peer Review RatingTM in Litigation and Criminal Law, an AVVOTM 10.0 "Superb" Attorney rating and has been selected as Top 100 Trial Lawyers - Colorado by The National Trial Lawyers. He is an Associate Member of the Mediation Association of Colorado. Jeffery was on both the Law Review and Moot Court Board at the Ave Maria School of Law. He is an author numerous book reviews, an article on Cloud Computing and the legal treatment of genetic information-Genetic Liberty, Genetic Property: Protecting Genetic Information. Jeffery is a Coordinating Editor of the Law Office Technology Department for The Colorado Lawyer. He has a diverse business management and leadership background focusing on Information Technology and Technical Project Management. He earned a Master of Law Firm Management degree from the George Washington University and has taught college courses in Criminal Law and the Legal Environment of Business.

Mr. Weeden has more than 20 years' experience in corporate and management fields. Mr. Weeden is involved in many community service projects and organizations, including being past president of Routt County Habitat for Humanity and is involved with the Routt County Pro-Bono Legal Clinic and Northwest Colorado Legal Services Ask-A-Lawyer Program. Mr. Weeden was an Adjunct Professor at Colorado Mountain College and has several published works on legal matters for the Ave Maria Law Review, the Colorado Lawyer and others. He is also an Adjunct Scholar for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy.

Mr. Weeden graduated from Ave Maria School of Law with a Juris Doctor, and competed in the Braxton Craven Constitutional Law moot court trial competition. He was a member of both Moot Court Board and Law Review (Editor-of-the-Year 2004-2005).

Mr. Weeden was a judicial intern for The Honorable Paul V. Gadola, United States District Court for the Eastern District Of Michigan, Flint , Michigan and a judicial extern for The Honorable Michael T. Talbot, Michigan Court of Appeals, Detroit, Michigan.
